Which way around St. Helena?

The question itself raises qustions, but the guys asked which would be the best way around St. Helena.  Do you have any advice for them? 


The island is not even a pin-prick in the vast Atlantic but the only piece of land they are likely to see for a while.  I guess they would like to at least have a look at it!

They have moved off their intended route (the red line) - possibly because of the repair work being done on the pontoons.
